Blogathon Busted

[tweetmeme source=”azwritergal” only_single=false https://writinginsand.wordpress.com/2010/05/19/blogathon-busted/%5D Well, I’m busted. I wrote for 14 days straight before failing. I didn’t get a chance to write this weekend, and was pretty busy the last couple of days so I never posted. That means that I’m no longer eligible for the WordCount Blogathon prizes. That’s ok though, I’m still going to participate in the Blogathon and blog as much as I can for the remainder of the month.

Even though I’m not eligible for the prizes any longer, this experience has been helpful. I’ve found a lot of wonderful blogs from the other bloggers participating. The blogathon has also helped me get back into the swing of posting regularly…on this blog at least. I need to work on regular posting for my other blogs.

The blogathon has also helped me re-evaluate my blogging. I’m going to cut out some of the blogs I’ve been attempting, and combine my efforts. I also redesigned (again!) this blog, although I’m still trying to find a design I like and that works for what I want to do. We’ll try this current theme/design for a while and see how it goes.

That’s my thoughts for today. I still have a few minutes before I have to leave to get the DH from work, so maybe I’ll try to knock out an article before I leave.
