Harley Swiftdeer Reagan is a teacher and a spiritual healer; he is also an accomplished martial artist.
Harley Swiftdeer Reagan is the Soke, or head of family, of Ten-No-Kishi Dojos in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has a very impressive background in martial arts. Reagan started studying Judo at the age of 8. He has spent nearly 50 years learning and teaching martial arts. An alternate member of the 1964 Olympic Judo team, Reagan competed and finished 4th. He was World Jiu-Jitsu Champion from 1967 to 1970, and he’s a Marine Corp veteran. He’s a Black Belt in 14 different martial arts disciplines, a 10th degree Red/White/Black and Gold Belt of the American Indian Fighting Arts Association, and a 10th degreen Red/White/Black Belt of the US Hombu Shorinji-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu and US Hombu Shorei-Ryu Karate. He is also the Founder and Soke of the American Indian Fighting Arts Association, and Director of the US Hombu Shorinji-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu and of the US Hombu Shorei-Ryu Karate.
Harley Swiftdeer Reagan is also the founder of the Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society in Scottsdale, established in 1986 for the purpose of teaching the Wheels and Keys of the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path.
