I Got To Go Outside

Mom let me go outside today. She put this little vest thing on me first though, before I could go out. I’m not really sure what that was about. She walked with me to keep me company. I walked in front of her, because I’m a big boy and didn’t want anyone to think I had to be watched by my mommy. Mom uses something to keep me near her though. Every time I’d get a couple of feet in front of her, I’d feel something pulling at me and I couldn’t go any farther. Mom kept up with me pretty good though. I got to explore a long way, then I rolled and rolled and rolled on what mom called the patio. Then she made me go back in the house, because my brother was wanting to go out too.
